These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Educational Portal app (“App”), provided by Escola Vereda (“School”, “we”) for web browsers and in its iOS and Android versions. By accessing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Purpose and who may use it

The App is a relationship tool between the School and families, intended for guardians (parents) and students regularly enrolled with the School. Through it, you can follow academic, financial and administrative information, complete enrollment, sign documents, schedule meetings, manage student pick-up release and access other services made available by the School.

Access is personal and tied to the current educational relationship. Use by underage students is carried out under the supervision and responsibility of their respective legal guardians.

2. Access account and security

Access to the App is done through individual credentials: login by e-mail or CPF and password for guardians, and login through an institutional Microsoft account for students. Password recovery is done through a verification code sent by SMS or e-mail.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activities carried out in your account. Notify the School immediately in the event of unauthorized use. The School may suspend or terminate access in the event of a breach of these Terms, misuse or by legal requirement.

3. Proper use

When using the App, you agree not to:

  • access accounts, data or areas for which you are not authorized;
  • provide false information, third-party information without authorization, or tamper with documents and data;
  • attempt to bypass security mechanisms, perform reverse engineering or overload the systems;
  • use the App for unlawful purposes or in a way that violates third-party rights or applicable law.

4. Documents and electronic signatures

The App allows the electronic signing of documents, such as contracts and terms. By signing, you acknowledge the legal validity of the electronic signature and authorize the recording of authentication information (such as date, time, IP address and device data) to ensure the integrity and authorship of the document.

5. Financial information

The App may display financial information and allow the generation of payment methods (for example, PIX and bank slip) related to the educational agreement. The information is informational and operational in nature; the commercial conditions and obligations remain governed by the educational services agreement signed with the School.

6. Service availability and changes

We strive to keep the App available and functioning properly, but the service may undergo maintenance, updates or interruptions. We may modify, add or discontinue features at any time, seeking not to impair the essential contracted services.

7. Intellectual property

The App, its brand, layout, texts, images and software are owned by Escola Vereda or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. The unauthorized reproduction, distribution or use of any App content is prohibited.

8. Privacy and data protection

The processing of personal data in the App is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms. We recommend reading it to understand what data is collected, how it is used and what your rights are.

9. Limitation of liability

The School is not liable for unavailability, failures or damages resulting from factors beyond its reasonable control, including problems with the user’s connection, devices, third-party services or misuse of the App. Nothing in these Terms removes rights guaranteed to the consumer by law.

10. Termination

You may request the termination of your access to the App at any time. Terminating access does not affect the retention of data and documents that the School must keep by legal or contractual obligation, as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes means agreement with the revised Terms.
