Teaching System

To be complete and high-quality, learning must be directly tied to a teaching system that delivers modern education with technology-rich experiences and a clear curriculum.

These are core premises in Escola Vereda’s full-day program, nationally recognized as a strong educational program with in-depth content built by teachers who live the reality of the classroom.

We work with the pH Teaching System by Somos Educação, one of the country’s leading references in results and innovation. What sets pH apart is where its materials come from: every book and workbook is written by teachers who are in the classroom every day, so the content reaches students already shaped for the reality of learning, with clear language, a well-built teaching sequence, and the academic rigor that sustains strong results.

The methodology brings physical and digital materials together into a single path, putting the student at the center of the process. Teaching is not limited to delivering content: it plans, follows up, and adjusts. At each stage, diagnostic assessments show what a class already masters and where it needs reinforcement, and it is from that reading that teachers personalize interventions and feedback. It is a continuous cycle of planning, teaching, checking, and acting that turns assessment into a learning tool rather than an endpoint.

In High School, this work has a clear destination: consistent preparation for the ENEM and for the country’s main university entrance exams. Students cover nearly all the required content by the 2nd year and dedicate the 3rd year to in-depth review and practice exams, always with close guidance. More than getting students admitted, pH and our own proposal aim to form a whole person: able to think critically, to take a stand in the world, and to keep learning far beyond any test.

The pH learning materials (Somos Educação) have existed for over 30 years. Over those three decades the program has evolved its pedagogical planning, helping students and teachers approach learning in an up-to-date and efficient way. It is a leading reference for innovation and results, thanks to its well-structured content and recognized academic strength.

Plurall: virtual learning environment

The virtual learning environment is part of every Vereda student’s daily life. Using state-of-the-art technology, our online learning platform, developed by Somos Educação, can be accessed 24/7 from tablet, computer, or phone, working as an extension of the classroom.

There, students, teachers, and guardians can access: questions and study materials, digitized versions of the printed content, reports and activities, exercise lists with videos, and a question bank.

Apple Devices

Students use Apple equipment to complement their access to learning materials. The devices also enable broad academic dynamism inside and outside the classroom.

Chromebooks

In programming classes, students work on dedicated Chromebooks. This is where code leaves the page: students write, test, and run their own programs in a real development environment, learning firsthand the logic behind everyday technology.

Using Chromebooks reinforces programming as a subject in the regular Elementary curriculum and prepares students to think in a structured way, solve problems, and create with autonomy.
