Welcome

Hello! I hope you are well.

A question: in your view, what is the role of a school? To prepare students for a top-tier university entrance exam? To develop social and emotional skills? To care for your children as if they were our own? To prepare them for a future in constant change?

For us, it is all of that and more: our school was designed so every family can finally provide an education that is genuinely connected with life.

We do this in a classroom where students learn to read the world and to write their own story. It is the place where formulas turn into questions, opening room for the individuality that lets each student own their path, fully aware that there are no limits to their dreams and goals.

How is that possible? By understanding each student in their entirety, as a complex human being, eager for knowledge and growth. To that end, we focus on three core pedagogical pillars:

Our pedagogical pillars

  1. Literacy in its many forms: Portuguese, mathematics, English, programming, the arts, and sports, with extended hours and academic rigor.

At Vereda, alongside our focus on traditional subjects, we offer a complete English and programming program inside the regular curriculum.

  2. Project-based learning and life skills: using projects and life-skills classes to connect every concept to practical, real-world experience.

Our teacher, present in 100% of our classes, goes beyond transmitting knowledge to become an element that joins transmission, mediation, and discovery. The student becomes the researcher, builder, and debater of their own evolution.

  3. Development of social-emotional competencies.

We are convinced of the potential in every student. That potential is only realized when we cultivate self-awareness, curiosity, empathy, determination, and collaboration. We open space for young, critical thinkers capable of impacting their own lives and their families.

A living environment, connected with life

This living, dynamic educational environment adopts a teaching model that supports student agency, drawing on active methodologies and composing full-day education that is always connected with the reality of life.

That connection with life means understanding the context of each family. Looking at the student as an individual, we make a point of understanding their reality outside the classroom. The educational process is built on the vital closeness between school and family, together, with a caring and attentive eye on the student.

And we go further. Our method, beyond its quality, must be accessible. With that in mind, we have built a complete and financially viable educational package: a full-day school with meals and learning materials included, at a tuition far more accessible than most private schools.
