Sistema pH: leading learning materials

The pH learning materials (Somos Educação) have been around for more than 30 years. Over these three decades they have continually refined their pedagogical planning, allowing students and teachers to shape the moment of learning in an up-to-date and efficient way.

It is the leading reference in innovation and results among Brazilian private schools, thanks to its very well-structured educational content and its recognized academic strength, a leader in admissions to the ENEM and to the country’s most competitive universities.

Plurall: virtual learning environment

The virtual learning environment is also part of the daily routine of every Vereda student. Using the most modern technology available, the online study platform, developed by Somos Educação, can be accessed 24 hours a day, on a tablet, computer, or phone, working as an extension of the classroom.

On it, students, teachers, and guardians have access to:

  • Q&A and supplementary materials
  • Digitized content from the printed material
  • Reports and activities
  • Exercise sets with worked-solution videos
  • A question bank for guided study

Apple Devices

Students have access to Apple equipment to complement their experience with the learning materials. The devices also bring broad academic dynamism inside and outside the classroom, from producing videos and podcasts in investigative projects to using the Plurall platform anywhere.

Chromebooks

In programming classes, students work on dedicated Chromebooks, the environment where they write, test, and run their own code. This is where computational logic stops being theory: students build their programs in real tools, at the same pace as they learn to reason in a structured way and solve problems. The Chromebooks directly support programming as a subject in the regular curriculum.

English Program in the curriculum

Five English classes per week, integrated into the regular curriculum, with proprietary materials and methodology, and no extra language-course tuition. The program begins in Veredinha and gradually deepens through High School.

Programming as a subject

Computer languages enter the regular curriculum from Elementary through High School. This isn’t a “technology class.” It’s programming as a subject, with a progressive instructional sequence that teaches structured reasoning and problem-solving at the same depth as math and science.
